We have a black-tie-do to go to – none of
my dresses fit around the bust. I panic and have to do some emergency
lunch-hour shopping. In the changing room I’m non-plussed by my new shape and
have lost my sense of what suits me. The shop assistant comes to my aid and I
leave with a dress that I feel I can confidently wear. My husband is
appreciative; my son asks, “When are you going to go back to your normal shape?
Your breasts still stick out”. I explain that I was pretty flat-chested
previously and that this is my new normal shape. He nods but looks a little
confused.
